You Should Learn To Keep Your Mouth Shut About These 5 Things

In today’s world, with Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and all sorts of other ways of globalizations and social media networking, most of us don’t really have a private life.

Which is wrong. Not all should have information about your private life, because you don’t really know how they might use it!

Though you may have many likes and comments on your graduation picture, let me tell you honestly, not THAT many people are actually happy about your successes and happy stories.

You have to be the one to make a selection for the people in your life and even more, better observe them before giving out your personal information.

In today’s article I’ve decided to present 5 types of personal information you should most definitely keep to yourself, before really knowing someone or making a deep relationship trust.

1. Material belongings

Lately, it seems the social networks are bloated with material belongings such as phones, cars, jewelry, expensive clothes and shoes etc.

You shouldn’t brag so much about material things, because people would think you’re arrogant and an obsessed materialist. Though you’re able to live the life of dreams, try to be more modest and keep the “price tag” just for yourself. You’d be seen as a much better person.

2. Past resentments

Everyone comes with a luggage. We all have past experiences we wish we could have amnesia for, but they keep haunting us and instead, we share those bad stories.

It’s better to leave these things behind and don’t mention them, especially to people who you want to be in your life in the future. Let the past stay in the past, and let the story from it be enough for your own experience and advice on how to act in the future.

No one want to hear stories about past resentments – that gives out a feeling that you’re still stuck somewhere in your past.

3. Your income

Even if you have all the money in the world and can easily buy the whole round in the bar, without feeling you’ve spent too much, don’t let new people in your life know your financial status. That can really affect the relationship people form with you and you may end up with fake friends or fake love.

4. Good deeds

Then you do good, make sure you do it privately and don’t show off about it. From one side, it might seem like you’re only doing it to show off, and from another side, people with “great needs” and “poor finances” might start to surround you all of a sudden.

5. Plans and goals for your future

These things should be discussed with family, best friends and partner in a stable relationship. Also, according to science, you have a higher chance to actually accomplish what no one knows you’re doing!

This is mostly because when you share things like this, people want to talk you out of it or enter their opinions about it. It can really mess with the track of your plans and you may end up giving up on them, just because of others!

What are your thoughts? I’d be very thankful if you’d help it spread by sharing it on Pinterest. Don’t keep this to yourself, please share this post on your Pinterest Board.
